Apple Begins Shipping The First Batches of the Apple Watch

The wait is at last over for millions of Apple fans, the Apple Watch initial orders are being rolled out to chosen points of distribution across the US which shipping couriers are getting prepared for an increase in delivery needs. This launch will be starting as from Friday that 24th of April according to speculations.

Retail chief Angela Ahrendts of Apple had confirmed this month that Apple Watch deliveries on pre-orders would begin on the 24th of April. Some pre-orders customers have however received their shipping estimates as varying between 4 to 6 weeks and it cannot be defined yet how many units of the watches would be delivered on the first day.

Pre-orders statuses on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus have began changing from Processing to Preparing for Shipment on the company’s online store for various customers on the Monday during the same week of the scheduled Friday delivery. Because of limited stocks, the estimated April 24th to May 8th time frame was set. The status on pre-orders might take longer to change.

For the time being, reports on pre-orders for the Apple Watch have not changed and customer credit cards have not been charged. However, various sources have cited that bulk shipping has begun. In the meantime, customers have been charged for Apple Watch accessories such as the charging cable and the Protection Plan AppleCare+.

Pre-orders for the Apple Watch started being available as from the 10th April in the US, Australia, China, justify, Hong Kong, Japan, France and United Kingdom. These sold out in a matter of only six hours.
